Comments: I was born and raised in Southern CA, then moved to the Monterey Peninsula and spent many years as a creative director in advertising & marketing, then as a computer programmer. My love of fishing, hiking and cross-country skiing often drew me to the Sierra and the Gold Country. Mariposa was a longtime favorite stop over between the Monterey Peninsula and the Sierra. Somewhere along the line, Mariposa became the focal point of the journeys because of its year-round recreation, fascinating history and spectacular beauty. In 1999, my husband and I bought a weekend home in Mariposa. It did not take long to decide it was time to become locals. The quiet beauty of the hills coupled with the friendly environment of the town, won the tug-of-war between city and country living. I can’t say enough about living in Mariposa! It didn’t take long for my husband and me to feel more connected in this community than in all the years we spent in Pacific Grove. I can’t imagine living anywhere else. I am a member of Rotary, The John C. Hospital Foundation, the SPCA, and was voted the 2006 Realtor of the Year by my peers. My other interests include: gardening, travel, cooking, wine tasting, sailing, and reading. My goal is to make your transition to Mariposa as smooth as possible!
